Discussion
The case described here is noteworthy for the large number of patients with a similar presentation that had ulcerated abscesses in their lower extremity. It is notable that most of these patients had the same underlying anatomical and clinical features, such as trauma, trauma-induced arthritis, an acute inflammatory response and a history of prior injury. The main aim of present paper is to describe the clinical picture of this complex injury and to discuss the management of this particular type injury.
Diagnosis
